Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from either the website or the app. You do not need to contact us and we will not ask you why.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
On the website
Sign in, open your account, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
Go to account settingsIn the app
Open the You tab, then About, then Delete account. The same typed confirmation applies.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your saved restaurants
- Your ratings and comments
Restaurants you added stay in the directory so other people can still find them, but they are no longer linked to you. Scores are recalculated without your ratings.
Want a copy first?
Email us before you delete and we will send you what we hold. Once the account is gone we cannot recover it.
