Reporting content

PLEET has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. If you see something that breaks that rule, tell us — it takes a few seconds and reports are confidential.

Every report is reviewed by a person, usually within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks the rules and we suspend accounts that post it.

How to report

On the website: open the restaurant, find the comment, and use the report control beside it. You can also report a listing as a whole from the same page.

In the app: tap the flag icon next to any comment on a restaurant page.

You will be asked to pick a reason and can add detail:

  • Spam or advertising
  • Abusive or hateful
  • Inaccurate information
  • Offensive content
  • Something else

Blocking someone

Blocking is separate from reporting, and you can do either or both. Blocking a user hides everything they have written from you across the app and the website. They are not told, and it takes effect immediately.

The report form offers to block the author at the same time, so you do not have to do it twice.

What happens next

  1. Your report goes into a moderation queue that a person works through.
  2. Content that breaks the rules is hidden from everyone, not just from you.
  3. Accounts that repeatedly post objectionable content are suspended or removed.
  4. Reports are confidential — the person you reported is not told who reported them.

Something urgent?

If content involves an immediate risk to someone’s safety, email us directly rather than using the in-product form, and we will prioritise it.
