Common questions
- How is a restaurant scored?
The score blends what a restaurant reports about its own practices with ratings from people who have eaten there — 70% owner-declared, 30% community. Fourteen practices are weighted by how much difference each makes. The full breakdown is on the How scoring works page.
How scoring works- A listing is wrong. How do I fix it?
If you own or manage the restaurant, claim the listing and we will verify you. If you are a diner, rating the restaurant is the fastest way to correct what is shown — community ratings feed directly into the score.
For restaurant owners- Why do I need to verify my email?
Only to claim a restaurant listing. Browsing, saving, rating and commenting all work without it. We send the verification link when you create your account — check your spam folder if it has not arrived.
- The app is showing ads. Why?
Ads keep the app free and pay for the work of maintaining the restaurant directory. We keep them few and out of your way, and we never sell your personal information. The website shows no ads at all.
- A restaurant near me is missing.
Add it. You will be asked which practices it follows, and it appears in the directory straight away for everyone else to confirm.
